Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PYRAM (“PYRAM”, “the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a global Social Media Software-as-a-Service (SM-SaaS) platform. By accessing, creating an account on, or using PYRAM, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Platform Nature & Scope

PYRAM is a social, communication, discovery, and monetisation platform. It is not a marketplace, escrow service, payment processor, bank, brokerage, investment platform, delivery service, or e-commerce provider. All external transactions, fulfilment, advertising services, and third-party platforms remain outside PYRAM's control and responsibility.

2. Eligibility & Age

You must meet the minimum legal age applicable in your jurisdiction to use PYRAM. Age-restricted visibility controls may apply. Users below the applicable age threshold are only discoverable within permitted age ranges.

3. Self-Custodial Accounts & Access

PYRAM operates on a self-custodial login model:

• No email address, phone number, or biometric identifier is required.
• Login credentials are uniquely generated and held exclusively by the user.
• PYRAM cannot recover lost credentials under any circumstances.
• Optional self-destruct accounts may be created with a user-defined deletion timer.
• Users may create their own PIN as an access method instead of relying on third-party credentials.

Loss of access credentials results in permanent loss of account access. Users accept this risk in full.

4. Encryption & Security Architecture

PYRAM employs privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles, including:

• End-to-end encrypted private messaging using modern cryptographic standards and a Double Ratchet mechanism.
• Optional Double Maze Lock messaging requiring dual user authorisation.
• Encrypted voice notes, calls, and media transmission.
• Encrypted notes, folders, and stored content accessible only by the user.
• Screenshot, screen-recording, and audio-capture controls where supported by the device and operating system.

PYRAM does not store private encryption keys and has no technical ability to decrypt user communications.

5. Content Ownership & User Responsibility

Users retain ownership of all content they create and share. By using PYRAM, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have lawful rights to all content you upload or share.
• Your content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences arising from it.

PYRAM does not pre-approve content and does not endorse user-generated material.

6.Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Underage or exploitative content of any kind
• Illegal drug-related content
• Marketplace activity or sale of goods or services
• Racism, hate speech, harassment, or incitement to violence
• Any unlawful activity or facilitation thereof

Violation may result in account silencing, restriction, or suspension without prior notice, subject to applicable law.

7. Moderation & Silenced Accounts

Accounts are not deleted by default; they may be silenced:

• Silenced accounts retain access but may be restricted from posting or interacting.
• Silencing may be temporary or extended based on severity.
• Moderation is applied on a reasonable-effort basis and may not occur in real time.

8. Creator Monetisation

Creators may monetise through subscriptions, PPV, PPI, donations, gifts, and referrals, subject to platform rules:

• Creators retain 85% of earnings.
• PYRAM retains 15%, or 10% where a valid referral applies.
• Referral rewards are paid from PYRAM's platform share and do not reduce creator earnings.
• Referral eligibility requires an active account in good standing and a minimum profile score of 1,000.
• Monetisation features may be adjusted or restricted to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

PYRAM does not guarantee earnings or audience reach.

9. Payments & Third Parties

Payments are processed through third-party providers. PYRAM is not responsible for:

• Payment delays, failures, chargebacks, or provider errors
• Tax obligations, reporting, or compliance
• External advertisements, links, or services

Users are solely responsible for complying with all tax, financial, and legal obligations.

10. Location & Maps

Location sharing is optional and controlled by the user. Ghost Mode is enabled by default. PYRAM does not require location access for core functionality.

11. Open-Source & Audits

Certain components of PYRAM are open source for transparency and verifiability. Independent security audits are planned and will be published when completed. Until then, open-source components remain available for public review.

12. Availability & Changes

Features, functionality, and availability may change at any time to ensure compliance, safety, or technical integrity. PYRAM does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

PYRAM is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties—express or implied—are disclaimed.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PYRAM and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by general principles of international contract law. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction remain unaffected. Where disputes cannot be resolved amicably, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with applicable law.

16. Acceptance

By accessing or using PYRAM, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
